Please join us on Saturday, May 11th from 9:00am-1:00pm at Kennesaw State University – Prillaman Hall for a mental health symposium for community members! By providing mental health information and resources, we hope to educate and empower Cobb & Douglas community members battle mental health issues and achieve mental wellness. Don’t let a lack of transportation be the reason you can’t attend this event! The CobbLinc bus stops at the Kennesaw State University Carmichael Student center – check out the Route 45 Outbound to get there from the Marietta Transfer Center and the Route 45 Inbound to get back to the transfer center. Mental Health Stigma & Cultural Competency – Presented by speakers from Ser Familia, Inc. and Kennesaw State University.

Substance Abuse & Opioids – Presented by speakers from Cobb Community Alliance to Prevent Substance Abuse and Alana Recovery Center.

Trauma & Coping – Presented by speakers from Kennesaw State University and the Attachment & Trauma Network.

 

EXHIBITORS & RESOURCES

The event will feature several organizations as exhibitors for attendees to obtain important information about mental health resources and services and for attendees to connect with a representative from these organizations. These organizations include Cobb Division of Family Services, Cobb Community Services Board, Ridgeview Institute, Traime Behavioral Health, Cornerstone Family Services, and many more!
